I know this might sound kind of funny, but with the advent of the Internet, it seems that a lot of people have forgotten about something called libraries. If there is a topic that you wish to write about (or you see a huge project, say one that is worth $500), but do not have too much knowledge on the subject, simply go to your local library, and look for a book. Books are excellent, excellent sources of information, as in many cases they have gone through a filtering process. Before they can get published, they have to be reviewed by numerous editors and other readers. And then, they only really sell if they actually have useful information. If it doesn’t sell, you’ll probably find it hard to find the book. This is opposed to on the Internet, anyone can publish anything they want, and in many cases the content is pure junk.
One thing that is nice is that if a trip to the library is too far for you, in many cases, you can actually now find partial or complete books online. Google has built upon other people’s work, and now offers a number of digital books online, you can find access to it here
Method Two – Article Directories
The second easy method for research is simply by using a very popular website called ezinearticles.com. Basically numerous authors have written articles already on a wide variety of topics, and the jobs you find will probably be very similar to the articles listed here. This is simply because generally speaking the people that want articles to be written for them are individuals called article marketers. Usually it is a competition between these marketers to see how many articles they can churn out in any given day. The more articles they have, the more traffic they can get, which usually leads to more sales.
So if you are looking for a particular topic simply use Google to find what you want on that site. For example, let’s say you were looking for health topics, you might do something like this (in the google search engine)
siteezinearticles.com health food
Basically, what this will do, is searched for every article on the website ezinearticles.com related to health food. The only thing that you have to be careful of, is make sure that the information you find, is accurate. There are a lot to Internet marketers using this website to promote their products. While most of the information is pretty good, some of it is way off, simply because it is only being used to promote a product. So if you do use this website, make sure the information is accurate.
